Sulwen and I headed to Green Valley, Arizona for a quick visit with Grammy, Grandad, Hailey Mama, Susie Radeker and her mother, Sandy Cisneros. It was altogether way too short but we still had a perfectly wonderful time.
We managed to get in walks, try on lots of new outfits (thanks to Susie, Hailey, and Grammy), try out lots of new toys (thanks to Grammy, Grandad, and Sandy), go swimming, play Mexican Train, hike in Madera Canyon, feast on some delicious meals and enjoy catching up.
Thanks for making it such a fun and special trip everyone. We vowed that next year's visit has to be longer!
My camera ran out of battery...so thanks to Hailey for most of these photos....and look for Grandad's posting on www.richardfranke.com, which will probably also have more photos (no pressure Dad).
*April 2, 2009 update* Dad's got them up: www.richardfranke.com/040109.html
Sulwen starts out her first day with
a blueberry shake - grande, extra cold, please!
A new story from Grammy is always appreciated.
Grandad and Sulwen both try their remotes
to get the Sesame Street video working.
Sulwen plays with Grandad's pencils and tries out the clip board too.
It always helps to stand on one foot, especially if you're wearing new shorts.
Now *that's* a fancy kitchen (from Sandy)
and some seriously drooping drawers (on Sulwen).
Trying on one of many new outfits.
A dress from Lauren (Susie's daughter)...
Grandad disapproved of the hat on backwards.
