Summer Fruits Are In!

There is nothing like summer fruit at the peak of summer as Sulwen is learning. This morning's feast was on succulent blackberries and sweet raspberries.

Watching her devour berries is a delight to her parents but not for the faint of heart. It's not a real clean and tidy kind of affair.

Berries made it to every part of her chair, every orifice on her body; they were smeared all over her clothes and hair, and flung to the far reaches of the living room. We tout Shout as a stain remover as her white sweater is again white now. Every once in awhile it's worth it to use something conventional.

New People, Places, and Playthings

We couldn't resist the ease of posting another Animoto slideshow. Hopefully this time you won't need to watch it 12 times to see all the photos. A little Mozart lends a slightly different pace.

Sulwen and I had such a great time visiting Nanny in Palo Alto and experiencing going to a park, swinging, trips to Peet's and Foothill Park, and plenty of shopping thrown in.

We also had a great time in Oregon seeing Grammy and Grandad, swimming in Tate's pool, going to a 4th of July party, celebrating Grammy and Grandad's 45th anniversary, and spending time with Hailey and Bill.

For more coverage and great photos of Sulwen's trip to Talent, please see her Grandad's website:
